Stephanie Rudnick
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Physical and Health Education Program and is a level two NCCP certified coach. While at the University of Toronto, Stephanie played 4 years for the Women’s Varsity Blues basketball team. Throughout this career her team captured two provincial titles and a silver medal at the 1996 Canadian University National Championships. In her final season with the Blues, Stephanie was named an Ontario University (OUA) All Star. Stephanie has also had international level playing experience representing Canada at the 1997 Maccabi Games in Israel. Now that Stephanie has completed her playing career, her focus has shifted to improving the skills of Canadian basketball players. Stephanie created Elite Camps to achieve this goal. |

Shane Dennie
Director of HYPE Training
Shane has been with Elite Camps for seven years. He is a graduate of Humber College where he studied Recreation and Leisure Services. After playing for the men’s basketball team at Biola University (L.A.), Shane continued his studies and athletic career at Humber College where he was named the O.C.A.A. Player of the Year and All Canadian in 2004. Despite his many athletic accomplishments, Shane’s love for basketball is secondary to his passion for working with and coaching children. Shane believes that basketball can lay the blueprint for a child’s work ethic and discipline, which is expressed through his favourite acronym: H.Y.P.E – Have You Practiced Enough? Shane further believes that children can develop self-esteem and confidence through basketball that transcends beyond the court to school, work and other daily activities.
As Director of HYPE Training, Shane’s future plans include expanding the Elite program to different regions of the GTA. This initiative will create more opportunities for children to develop basketball fundamentals and acquire a love for the game through our unique Elite Camps program.

Jason Inglis
Program Director/Life Coach
Jason has been with Elite Camps for six years. He is a graduate of Los Angeles Valley College where he attended on an athletic scholarship playing for the men’s basketball team. Jason studied a combination of Sports Science and Liberal Arts. He is an energetic, uplifting and motivated individual who promotes a positive attitude on and off the court. Jason believes in learning to win off the court before you win on the court.
His definition of team is Together Everyone Achieves More – “TEAM”
With this attitude, Jason knows every child can succeed in life if and when they choose to be a team player.
“ If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.” (Joel Osteen) 2005-10-26 |

Rudy Talarico
Director of Elite Academy/Operations
Rudy has been with Elite camps since 2005. He attended the University of Maine at Machias where he was the school’s rookie of the year and majored in Elementary Education. Rudy continued his athletic career and education at Seneca College, where he majored in Business Administration. Rudy then signed a contract in Germany to play professional basketball, and also signed a contract with And1 mix tape tour, as opposing team player. Rudy also fulfilled his goal to play professionally in Italy, but it was in England while playing in the EBL that Rudy developed a passion for teaching basketball to children. Recently, Rudy retired from his professional basketball career to help establish the new Elite Advanced Basketball Academy, a European influenced training program designed to transform the way athletes are trained in Canada.
